Simon Coupland and Bob John's paper "Geometric Type-1 and Type-2 Fuzzy Logic Systems," IEEE T-FS, Vol. 15:1, 3-15, 2007, was was selected for recognition with the 2010 IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Transactions on Fuzzy Systems Outstanding Paper Award. This recognition was approved by the IEEE CIS AdCom on Sunday, June 14, 2009.
Traditionally, in even years, this award is presented at the IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence, which will be held July 18-23, 2010 in Barcelona, Spain.
